VaultFi is a collateral locker for borrowers who want access to capital while keeping their market exposure. Terms, controls, and the path to release stay visible from the first review.
Built to make the important numbers legible before a borrower enters the operational application.
Borrow without selling
Lock supported collateral and retain the potential upside of the underlying asset while requesting over-collateralized liquidity.
Terms before action
Review principal, fees, repayment amount, collateral requirements, and the health of the position in one place.
Release follows repayment
The product journey is designed around a clear lifecycle: eligibility, custody, active loan, repayment, and collateral release.
A product preview, not a promise.
Illustrative values show how a borrower can understand the economics of a request before proceeding.

VaultFi funded
Platform liquidity can support eligible requests within defined caps.
Peer funded
Marketplace liquidity can be matched to requests with terms visible to participants.
Hybrid liquidity
Multiple sources can work together while the request remains auditable.
Controls designed for clarity.
Risk is part of the product surface: inputs and boundaries should be visible, explainable, and monitored.
Oracle inputs
Market inputs support consistent valuation and eligibility decisions.
LTV and health controls
Conservative collateral ratios, health monitoring, and top-up paths protect the lifecycle.
Lifecycle governance
Liquidity caps, repayment rules, and controlled release keep the architecture bounded.
Static frontend implementationNo wallet connectionNo API fetchNo live lending
Static read-model alignment is mapped.
The frontend, API read-model surfaces, and packages/shared typed contracts now share a documented integration map. This is still a static readiness surface: no request is made from the page, no API is called during validation, and no live lending workflow is enabled.
Frontend surfaceapps/web/index.html displays the static integration registry and keeps no-live, no-wallet, no-RPC copy visible.
API surfaceapps/api/app/main.py carries a static read-model contract registry with zero execution side effects.
Shared contractspackages/shared exports endpoint descriptors and adapter boundaries for future typed integration.
Boundary preserved: no frontend fetch call, no server start, no API call during validation, no RPC, no wallet connection, no provider/KYC service, no deployment, no token movement, no publication, no real user data, and no raw KYC.
Polished static experience
Clearer paths for borrowers, funders, and risk review.
This polish pass improves scanning, trust, and decision clarity while keeping the surface static. The page describes the locker model, USDT loan and repayment rails, collateral exclusions, and startup liquidity discipline without enabling live onboarding or transactions.
0 live callsNo API fetch, wallet connection, RPC, KYC provider, deployment, token movement, or publication is enabled in this frontend polish stage.
Company-funded route
Use only when internal liquidity caps permit. Collateral value alone does not force VaultFi to fund a large loan request.
Peer-funded route
When direct liquidity is not available, a request can be presented for peer funding interest, still within collateral, disclosure, and risk rules.
Static boundary: this is not a live lending product, not an investment offer, not a regulatory approval claim, and not a wallet-enabled app. It is a polished frontend readiness surface only.
VaultFi Collateral Locker
USDT loans against locked crypto — without giving up the borrower’s upside.
VaultFi is designed as a collateral locker for over-collateralized loans. Borrowers pledge supported crypto assets, receive a USDT loan quote, and repay in USDT. Collateral remains locked, visible, and governed by defined release, top-up, default, and liquidation rules.
Borrowing and repayment use USDT. Collateral is limited to selected major crypto assets. USDT and USDC are rails, not collateral assets.
Company-funded model
When company liquidity is available, VaultFi may fund an approved over-collateralized loan directly within policy limits.
Peer-funded model
When internal liquidity is insufficient, the request can be listed for peer liquidity pledges with disclosed interest terms.
Liquidity cap discipline
Large collateral does not automatically mean the platform should fund the full loan. Startup liquidity is capped and staged.
Accepted collateral shelf
Static policy display only. Live prices, health factors, and availability require later authorized integration.

Excluded from collateral: USDT and USDC are funding, settlement, and repayment rails only. They are not displayed as pledgeable collateral in this frontend.
Borrower journey
The static flow keeps the user experience clear without implying live approval, live funding, or live collateral custody.
Choose collateral
Borrower selects a supported top crypto asset and reviews conservative collateral requirements.
Preview USDT loan
The interface explains loan amount, LTV discipline, repayment rail, and liquidation risk as a preview only.
Complete off-chain eligibility
KYC remains off-chain. The frontend never displays raw KYC or personal identity records.
Lock collateral after future authorization
Collateral movement is not active in this static build. Future lock actions require separate wallet, contract, and deployment authorization.
Repay in USDT and release
On repayment, release is contract-defined in the future system; this stage only describes the intended journey.
Frontend polish boundary preserved: no guaranteed approval, no guaranteed funding, no TVL claim, no revenue claim, no live liquidity claim, no legal or audit opinion, no raw KYC, no real user data, no API fetch, no wallet connection, no RPC, no token movement, and no publication.
Risk guardrails
Startup sustainability depends on caps, staged liquidity, and honest copy.
No guarantee language
No guaranteed approval, guaranteed funding, guaranteed yield, guaranteed repayment, or guaranteed collateral recovery is implied.
Liquidation clarity
Volatility, margin calls, top-up needs, default, and liquidation must be visible before any future borrower action.
No hidden collateral use
The collateral locker model is built around non-rehypothecation: no platform reuse of pledged borrower assets.
Static implementation boundary
This frontend section is a design and product-flow surface only.
Not live: no wallet connection, no API fetch, no RPC, no KYC provider, no borrower onboarding, no funder onboarding, no contract deployment, no transaction signing, no token movement, no custody, no settlement, no publication, and no real user data.

Trust model and borrower risk
Collateral locker promise
VaultFi is presented as a locker for pledged collateral, not a trading, staking, yield, or rehypothecation product.
No reuse of collateral
The mock copy states that platform collateral is not traded, staked, lent, reused, or rehypothecated.
Over-collateralized only
Borrowing is explained as conservative and asset-backed, with mock LTV guidance visible before any request.
Liquidation risk
Borrowers retain upside, but collateral can still be liquidated under protocol-defined risk rules if health deteriorates.
Top-up responsibility
Top-up warnings explain that borrowers must add collateral or repay when collateral health weakens.
Peer funding caveat
Marketplace liquidity is not guaranteed; peer funding is shown as future interest matching, not instant capital.
Stage138 final UX review panel
Ready for testnet planning, not testnet execution.
Mock-only confirmed
The customer experience remains a static educational demo with no wallet, RPC, provider, KYC, contract, signing, or payment rail.
Borrower path clear
Borrowers can understand collateral choice, mock loan preview, health factor, top-up responsibility, repayment, and release.
Trust copy visible
The UI states that collateral is not traded, staked, lent, reused, or rehypothecated by the platform.
Risk copy visible
Liquidation risk, unsupported assets, KYC-required-later state, and peer-funding caveats are presented before any live path.
No publication
This stage does not authorize customer publication, acquisition campaigns, production onboarding, or real user data collection.
Next: testnet plan
The next workstream should define a testnet environment plan without deployment, broadcast, token movement, or live provider calls.

Mock product policy · No live execution
USDT loans against locked top-coin collateral, with terms visible before the borrower starts.
VaultFi keeps the borrower’s asset upside intact by locking collateral instead of selling it. This customer mock now shows which assets can support a loan, how much can be borrowed against them, the expected fee structure, available tenure bands, and foreclosure/pre-closure rules. All values below are static mock policy values for product review only.
Loan models
Company-funded: VaultFi funds the loan when internal liquidity is available.
Peer-funded marketplace: the request is listed for lenders to fund when platform liquidity is limited.
Collateral remains locked; it is not traded, staked, reused, or rehypothecated.
Tenure and fees
Tenure: 30, 60, 90, or 180 days.
Origination fee: 1.00% mock platform fee.
Monitoring fee: 0.15% per month mock servicing fee.
Late fee: 0.50% per month mock late fee.
Foreclosure / pre-closure
Borrowers may close early. Interest is charged only until the closure date. Mock pre-closure fee is 0.50% inside the first 30 days and 0% after 30 days. Collateral is released only after full repayment and rule checks.
Eligible asset policy
MockWBTC, MockETH, and MockBNB are the eligible collateral assets. All customer loans are paid out and repaid in USDT in this mock. MockUSDT is the payout and repayment currency; MockUSDC is an optional funding or repayment rail. Stablecoins are not collateral in this initial policy and can be enabled later only through a separate risk decision.

KYC boundary
The frontend should show verification status only. Raw KYC documents remain off-chain and are not stored on-chain in this model.
No hidden collateral reuse
VaultFi’s locker model does not trade, stake, lend, rehypothecate, or reuse customer collateral for platform yield.
Review mode: This is static mock data for product design review. No wallet connection, no RPC, no provider API, no KYC provider, no deployment, no broadcast, no transaction signing, no token movement, no custody action, no settlement, no real user data, and no raw KYC are enabled.
Borrower application flow
This mock flow shows how a borrower moves from eligibility to a USDT loan estimate without wallet connection, RPC, KYC provider calls, transactions, custody, or token movement.
1
Eligibility
Borrower sees the supported collateral list, USDT payout rule, geography/KYC reminder, and mock-only status.
2
Collateral choice
Borrower selects BTC/WBTC, ETH, BNB, SOL, XRP, ADA, DOGE, or LTC. USDT/USDC are not collateral options.
3
USDT estimate
Calculator shows maximum USDT loan, fees, estimated interest, and repayment amount using static mock rules.
4
KYC status placeholder
Frontend shows verification status only. Raw KYC files remain off-chain and are not stored in the app mock or on-chain.
5
Funding route
Request can be company-funded if liquidity exists or routed to the peer-funded marketplace when platform liquidity is limited.
6
Repayment / foreclosure
Borrower sees USDT repayment terms, early closure note, top-up warning, and rule-bound liquidation warning.
UX polish: the visible path now tells the borrower what can be pledged, what currency is received, how repayment works, and why no stablecoin collateral is offered in this first mock policy.
Mock UX review: This customer-facing mock is acceptable for current product validation. A deeper launch-grade UX pass is intentionally deferred until after the core backend, API, admin, provider, and compliance surfaces are complete. No wallet connection, RPC, KYC provider, transaction signing, token movement, custody, real user data, or raw KYC is enabled.
Local read-model sync
Static fallback active. Local backend fetch is source-wired but disabled unless a localhost API base is configured.
Boundary: localhost-only, ten whitelisted read-model routes, timeout-protected fetches, no wallet, no RPC, no provider/KYC call, no real user data, no raw KYC, no publication.
